City passes bundle entry to many attractions, sometimes with public transport, for one price.
How to decide in 5 minutes
- List the attractions you actually want to see, not everything included.
- Add up their normal ticket prices.
- Compare with the pass for the number of days you'd need.
- Check whether popular sights need a separate time-slot reservation even with the pass.
Passes tend to pay off when
- You're doing 2–3 paid attractions a day.
- The pass includes things you'd buy anyway, like transport or a hop-on bus.
- It saves queuing at busy sights.
Skip it when
- You prefer wandering, free museums, or one big sight a day.
- Many sights have free days or reduced prices you qualify for (students, seniors, under-26 in the EU at some museums).
